Enjoy the opportunity to re-connect with nature and discover both mental and physical health benefits of time spent in Awenda, one of Ontario's hidden gems! Park staff will be leading special activities throughout the day.

1:00 pm - Path of Paint and Paddle
What better way to help celebrate Awenda Provincial Parks' 40th anniversary this summer than by exploring our parks’ rich art heritage and creating your own personal masterpiece? Paint your own miniature paddle in a workshop geared to capture your special connection to Awenda!

2:30 - 4:00 pm - 'Cookie' Canvas
Paint yourself into Awenda's 40th Anniversary celebration this summer! Drop by 1st Beach for an informal painting event using a ‘tree cookie’ cross-section as your canvas. Explore your special connection to Ontario Parks in the tradition of Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven! Informal drop-in between 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm (30 minutes/person).
