Fire Bans

Effective immediately, in consultation with the local Fire Chief, a partial fire ban is in effect.
Fires will be permitted on registered campsites from 5:00am to 10:00am and 5:00pm-10:00pm. Absolutely no fires will be permitted outside of these hours for public safety.
The following conditions apply during a partial fire ban:
• Campfire must be contained within the designated fire pit
• No flammable material within 1 metre of the campfire
• There must be a minimum of 3 metres between the campfire and any nearby or overhanging vegetation/forest area
• You must have adequate equipment to control and extinguish a fire
Boil Water Advisory

There is no boil water advisory at this time.

A "posting" is an indication of elevated bacteria levels in the water, not intended as an indication of operational status.

Rock Point Provincial Park experienced significant storm damage over the winter. Hikers accessing our Woodlot trail may encounter impassable sections due to fallen trees and wet conditions. You may not be able to complete a hiking loop and have to return the way you came. Please plan your visit accordingly and obey all trail closure signs.
