Visitor Centre May 11, 2019 October 27, 2019 Visitor Centre The Visitor Centre will be open daily May 11 to October 27. Summer hours 10am - 5 pm. Spring and fall hours 10 am - 3 pm. The Visitor Centre offers over 3000 square feet of exhibit space, focusing on the natural and cultural heritage of the park and the surrounding Georgian Bay area.

Celebrate National Indigenous Day at Killbear!

Join Christine King, from our neighbouring Wasauksing First Nation community, for a morning of hand drumming, traditional Anishinabek water and strawberry ceremonies and a dance to the rhythm of Mother Earth’s heartbeat. 

Summer Programs June 22, 2019 October 27, 2019 Various locations throughout park Evening programs, guided hikes, and children's programs are offered throughout the summer by park naturalists. Programs tell a story about the special natural resources and human history of the park and run an hour in length. David Archibald - Special Concert July 11, 2019 July 11, 2019 Amphitheatre - 7:30pm

David's ever popular show celebrates Ontario Parks with original songs about the joys of poison ivy, campfires, the Great Lakes, forest fires, geology and more. Come on out for the ultimate singalong . Sponsored by the Friends of Killbear. Suggested donation of $10 per family for this special show. 

Neil Hutchinson - special concert July 18, 2019 July 18, 2019 Amphitheatre 7:30 pm

Neil Hutchinson is a singer/songwriter who is inspired by the natural beauty of Killbear and the Canadian Shield. His set will include original songs about the Group of Seven, steamships, camping and more, with some Gordon Lightfoot classics and maybe even a Fred Penner song thrown in. Sponsored by the Friends of Killbear.

Healthy Parks, Healthy People Day - Free Day Use July 19, 2019 July 19, 2019 Day Use Beach/Picnic Shelter

Join us at the Day Use Beach to celebrate Healthy Parks Healthy People! Free day use in all parks!

Activities will be happening throughout the day.

Parking is limited, please carpool, bike, walk or canoe. Overflow parking at main office. Bring your own healthy picnic.
