Park Advisories

2 Current Hydro Outage Information -- Updated September 23, 2021

There is currently a park wide hydro outage in the park expected to last until late next week.

Your safety is our priority and Ontario Parks staff are working with competent electrical contractors and the Electrical Safety Authority of Ontario to rectify this issue and to restore power to the park.

-All campsites are currently without hydro with and estimated time of restoration at this point is Thursday September 30th and may change as the situation evolves.

-The Park Store will have interrupted power and at times running via generator.

-Roe, East River, and Lumby comfort stations will have full functionality at the comfort stations including showers.

Ontario Parks is continuing to offer penalty-free cancellations and changes for customers affected by the power outage at Arrowhead Provincial Park. If you wish to make a change to your reservation as a result of our power outage, please contact our call center at 1-888-668-7275 to speak with an agent.

If you wish to keep your reservation you will be reimbursed the difference between an electric and non-electric campsite. Please visit the park office and the refund will be automatically credited to your account within a few business days.
