Friday, August 3 @ 8:30 pm – Miss Blue Lake 2018: Join us for the famous Miss Blue Lake Pageant! The summer of 2017 hosted some tough competition and we can’t wait to bring back our plant and animal contestants this year so they can impress you! You as the judges will be crowning our winner!
Saturday, August 4 – Blue Lake Amazing Race: Join us for the Blue Lake Amazing Race! Race to the finish line by competing challenges along the way!
Saturday, August 4 – Ontario Parks 125 Photo Booth! : Visit the Interpretive Centre from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to snap some memorable pics out #OP125 photo booth! We’d love to hear about your favorite Ontario Parks and why they’re important to you!
Sunday, August 5 @ 2:00 pm– Sand Castle Contest: You’re invited to come build the biggest, best, and most beautiful sandcastle in the Park! Builders will be put to the test to build their greatest creations! Categories include tallest, best decorated and staff favourite!
Sunday, August 5 @ 4:00 pm – Chat & Snack: It’s not a birthday celebration without cake! Join us under the picnic shelter to grab a slice and chat with out park staff and fellow campers!

Grab your passport from the Interpretive Centre and go! Hiking is a fun and peaceful way to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors, so we’re challenging you to hike all our trails this weekend! Collect stamps on your passport after hiking our trails and you’ll have a chance at winning the weekend draw for Take a Hike Weekend!
Friday, August 17 @10:00 am - Prehistoric Plants: Join a naturalist for a hike along the Boulder Ridge trail and discover the prehistoric plants of Blue Lake. Some of these photosynthesising giants have been on this earth for thousands of years and haven’t really changed that much since the dinosaurs were around!
Saturday, August 18 @ 8:00 pm – The Night Hike: What’s that strange noise in the middle of the night? Don’t be too concerned, it’s probably harmless! But just in case, join a naturalist for our night hike along the Spruce Fen and discover the life of many nocturnal species we have at Blue Lake!
Sunday, August 19 @10:00 am – The Deer Walk: White-tailed deer are everywhere! So why not learn more about them? Join a naturalist for a hike along Boulder Ridge and learn about the seasonal behaviours of these common ungulates!
