Fire Bans

There is a fire ban Effective July 7, 2020 the Park Superintendent has issued a Total Fire Ban for Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park.

No open air burning (campfires) are permitted during this time. Only exception is portable stoves that have fuel control valve may be used for cooking.

Boil Water Advisory

There is a boil water advisory - NOTICE: Any water collected from Lakes, Rivers, etc. in the back country should be treated before drinking, food preparation or dental care. Treatment could include, filtration, disinfection tablets, boiling water for one minute, etc.

Beaches at this park are not monitored for water quality.
