Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park offers a camping experience to appeal to visitors who would enjoy a small, quaint area. Campsites are available for all types of camping equipment.
Sturgeon Bay offers car camping on 79 campsites.
Many campsites offer electrical hook-up. Amenities such as water taps and toilets are nearby. Laundry facilities and showers are available on the cabin side of the park, a short distance away. Swimming, boating, canoeing and a boat launch are all within walking distance from the campground.
Sturgeon Bay has three cottages available for rent. Located on the shore of Georgian Bay, these cottages are on the opposite of Highway 529 from the main campground.
Cottage 1 sleeps six. A double bed is located in each of the two bedrooms and there is a pull out couch in the common area.
Cottage 3 sleeps four and has two bedrooms each with a double bed.
Cottage 4 sleeps eight. Two bedrooms have a double bed with single bunk. The third bedroom has a double bed.
All cottages have a kitchen and furnished common area. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, cupboards, sink and counter space. A microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove top kettle and dish rack are also provided in each cottage.
All three cottages have running water and a three piece bathroom. Outside visitors will find a deck, fire pit, picnic table and propane barbeque.
Please note that domestic animals (pets) are not permitted in the cottages and smoking is prohibited. There is a two night minimum in off season (three night minimum on long weekends).
Two vehicles are included in your rental fee. A third vehicle must purchase an additional vehicle permit.

Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park offers endless possibilities for your vacation, whether you prefer to relax by the campfire, swim, picnic, fish, paddle a canoe or go boating.
The park offers ice and camper supplies, canoe rentals, and boat slip rentals.
Sturgeon Bay is situated among the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay. Pack a lunch and take a boat ride and discover the islands! There is excellent fishing on Sturgeon Bay and Georgian Bay. We have a free Tackleshare program, so come out and give it a try!
We have canoes available for rent. Take a scenic tour of Sturgeon Bay and area but note that weather and waves can change quickly on Georgian Bay.
There is a natural sand beach recommended for swimming, and it is marked with buoy lines. The beach has a gradual drop-off. Please note: there are no lifeguards posted at the beach, and pets are not permitted.
Power boats are available for rent nearby.
There is excellent fishing on Sturgeon Bay and Georgian Bay.
There are no dedicated bicycling trails however campers enjoy cycling on the park roads.
Common bird sightings include the Common Loon, Caspian Tern, Black Tern, Great Blue Heron, Merlin, Spotted Sandpiper, American Woodcock, Mourning Dove, Whip-poor-will, and Pileated Woodpecker.

Enjoy car camping in Sturgeon Bay’s campground. There are showers and laundry facilities a short distance away. Water taps and flush toilets are located near the campsites.
You may chose to rent a cottage where all the luxuries of home are included.
Other amenities include a park store, boat launch, boat slips, canoe rentals, and day-use area with a quiet sandy beach.
