Lake on the Mountain is a day-use only park. There are no overnight camping facilities. If you are interesting in camping in Prince Edward County, try Sandbanks Provincial Park.
Lake on the Mountain offers a panoramic view of the Bay of Quinte and surrounding countryside. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you enjoy the view. You can learn about one of Ontario’s natural curiosities. Lake on the Mountain is 62 metres above Lake Ontario, yet is fed by a constant flow of clean, fresh water, with no apparent source. The Mohawks called it the Lake of the Gods, home of powerful spirits. Early settlers believed the lake was bottomless.

Lake on the Mountain has the amenities needed for a lakeside picnic including picnic tables, toilet facilities and a viewing platform over the lake.
