Discovery Program Drop-In June 29, 2019 September 1, 2019 Location will vary

Join park staff for a Discovery Drop-in during the months of July & August.  Bring along your Discovery Activity Book (or pick one up at the Drop-in), and use the equipment and materials provided to explore the park, observe plants and animals, and discover the wonders of nature.  Be sure to share your observations with park staff, take the Discovery Ranger Pledge and receive your very own Discover Ranger Button!  For more information keep an eye out for weekly calendar of events posted throughout the park.

Learn to Fish June 29, 2019 August 18, 2019 Across from the Fish Ladder

Come and join our Learn to Fish leader for two hours of fish-filled fun! You will learn basic fish anatomy, rules and regulations, safety tips, and have a chance at catching a big one! We will provide you with all of the equipment necessary for an awesome fishing experience. This is a free program for all ages. Children must have adult supervision while participating in the program. Please be on time. Participants who do not attend the teaching session will not be given equipment. Check for session times on our social media, event boards around the park or staff.

Sciensational Snakes! July 6, 2019 July 28, 2019 Amphitheatre

Sciensational Sssnakes provides hands-on education about reptiles and amphibians for the young and the young at heart. Their presentation features an informal lecture about the animals, their ecology and conservation issues as well as a session in which participants are able to interact, touch and hold the animals. Many of them are native Ontario species, some of which are now endangered in the wild, and rarely seen. You don't want to miss this!

Healthy Parks Healthy People Day July 19, 2019 July 19, 2019

Come one, come all and enjoy *FREE DAY USE at Earl Rowe Provincial Park in honour of Healthy Parks, Healthy People. Enjoy the opportunity to re-connect with nature and discover both mental and physical health benefits of time spent in nature.

Creature Quest is a favourite around here!  Swing by the park store for a Meet and Greet!  Friendly and knowledgeable animal handler(s) will bring out ans assortment of fuzzy and scaly animals to interact, entertain, educate!  There's lots to learn and exciting memories to be made.

Campers and Day visitors alike won't want to miss this program - remember to bring your cameras!
