White River Route (4-6 days) intermediate
Start at White Lake Provincial Park for a trip down the scenic White River to Pukaskwa National Park and Lake Superior. Rated one of the ten best canoe trips in Ontario by Outdoor Canada Magazine, this route features Class 1,2 and 3 whitewater rapids (with portages) and waterfalls. (Umbata Falls is the highest at 100'.)

Note: As of mid to late May 2010 the construction on the falls viewing trail will be complete. This trail will allow canoeists paddling the White River to view Umbata Falls.

Paddlers should also note that there is a survey to be filled out with regards to their canoe trip. The survey forms are located at the powerhouse part way along the falls viewing trail. A more detailed online survey can also be filled out for those paddlers who have canoed the river. This survey can be found on the attached link.
