School Group Programs
The Spruce Lane Farmhouse and the Nature Centre welcome day camps and school groups from March to December (check hours of operations). Our curriculum linked programs are suitable for student in Junior Kindergarten to grade 12. Call (905) 827-6911 ext 288 for more information or to book your program.
Guided Hikes, children's programs and pond studies are offered weekly in July and August. See the Park Event listing for current program options.
Open daily May to September. You can explore Natural History and live animal displays, view a live honey bee hive or identify songbirds from our bird viewing area. Watch for “Ask the Naturalist” or the wandering interpreter “Nature Ned”.
Spruce Lane Farmhouse
Open daily May to September. Discover rural life from 100 years ago at the fully furnished Spruce Lane Farmhouse. Daily demonstrations in July and August illustrate crafts, baking, preserves and laundry techniques used in the Victorian era.
