Six Mile Lake Provincial Park
Three sandy beaches, calm waters for swimming and scenic hiking trails make Six Mile Lake an ideal spot for a weekend getaway. The fully serviced park store offers food, camping and souvenir items and makes the best morning coffee in the area. The park also offers canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and fishing tackle for rent.
Six Mile Lake is 1.5 hours from Toronto, 5 hours from Ottawa.
Balsam Lake Provincial Park
Located in the picturesque City of Kawartha Lakes, Balsam Lake is an all season recreational park. Swim in the clean waters of Balsam Lake – sandy beach, playground and picnic shelters are close by. Rent a canoe, paddle boat or kayak, or take an enjoyable boat ride on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
There are four comfort stations complete with showers, laundry facilities and flush toilets.
Balsam Lake is 2 hours from Toronto, 4 hours from Ottawa.
Driftwood Provincial Park
Driftwood’s location on the beautiful Ottawa River offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy canoeing, kayaking and fishing in close proximity to its campsites. A small and intimate park, that provides a quiet and relaxing getaway for families.
The park is equipped with many amenities to make your vacation relaxing and comfortable including a barrier-free comfort station with flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities as well as boat rentals and a park store.
Driftwood is 5 hours from Toronto, 2.5 hours from Ottawa.
Bonnechere Provincial Park
Take a relaxing walk along Bonnechere‘s Footprints in Time trail or relax at the sandy beach. Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle along the quiet waters of the Bonnechere River – a free PFD rental is provided!
