Marten River Provincial Park

Marten River Provincial Park is the southern gateway to the Temagami area. Picnic at one of three sandy beaches or explore the river by canoe. Marten River is an angler’s delight with warm-water fish species ready to grab your line! Visit the park’s replica 19th century logging camp complete with artifact-filled cookery, bunkhouse, stable, blacksmith shop, museum/theatre and 15 outdoor exhibits.
Enjoy the modern camping facilities at Marten River. The campground offers clean comfort stations with showers, laundry facilities and flush toilets.

Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park

Just north of Algonquin, Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park is steeped in cultural history. The Mattawa River Visitor Centre showcases a variety of exhibits, and visitors can also try their hand at paddling a replica Voyageur canoe. Paddlers will enjoy a variety of experiences by exploring Moore Lake and its marsh areas and resident wildlife, viewing the tall majestic cliffs on Long Lake or tackling rapids and whitewater on the Mattawa River.
A comfort station located at the campground entrance provides, flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities. Playground equipment is offered at the shallow, sandy beach located on the northwest shore of Moore Lake.

Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park

Located between Chapleau and Timmins, Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park is a popular spot for family holidays, fishing trips and canoe outings. The park has an immense wealth of history, rare plants and dozens of unique landforms within its boundaries. A number of hiking trails wind through the beautiful wilderness, and a long curving lip of sandy beach with warm, shallow water and a playground makes this park attractive to families with young children.
Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park provides you with modern camping facilities such as comfort stations with showers, flush toilets and a coin laundry facility.

Silver Lake Provincial Park

Silver Lake Provincial Park, near Perth, is a long, narrow trough of water carved out by glaciers. While its long sandy beach is the big attraction, a marsh at the eastern end of the lake is another. A boardwalk crosses the marsh through the noisy, colourful habitat of painted turtles, bullfrogs, red-winged blackbirds and mallards. Grab your morning newspaper and relax, take the kids to the beach to enjoy great swimming or rent a canoe from the park.
A barrier-free comfort station with showers and drinking water are among the amenities provided for your convenience.
