Esker Lake Provincial Park, located in rolling hills of Boreal Forest between Kirkland Lake and the Quebec border, is known for its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The sites are well-treed, and close to facilities. Each area of the campground has its own comfort station with hot water, showers, flush toilets and laundry facilities. A sand beach lies on a bay between the two campgrounds.

The park is ideally located for local exploration; visitors can make day trips into Ottawa or travel to the upper Ottawa Valley to enjoy ecotourism activities. The park has a store that is well stocked with groceries, camping equipment and souvenirs for the whole family. Both beaches are clean and ideal for families with small children.

Rondeau Provincial Park offers a relaxing camping experience in rare Oak Savanna habitat, located walking distance from the Lake Erie shoreline. Camp with the luxuries of home; barrier-free comfort stations with showers, laundry facilities and flush toilets are available to campers. The Rondeau Peninsula is an enormous crescent-shaped sandspit featuring delicate sand dunes covered with hardy grasses, a large tract of Carolinian forest and an extensive marsh where American and Least Bitterns, Bald Eagles and Sandhill Cranes nest.
