Pancake Bay Provincial Park’s cabins are ready for visitors!

The cabins
Located in the park’s group camping area, these one-room cabins overlooks Lake Superior, and are just a few shorts steps away from the beach.
They each sleep six with a queen-size bed and a double bunkbed.
The cabins offer a gas fireplace, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, kitchenette storage, dining table, outdoor seating and covered outdoor barbecue area.
A water tap and vault privy are on site. Visitors are welcome to visit the full comfort station (laundry, hot showers and flush toilets) at the West Comfort Station.
On-site parking is provided for two vehicles. The cabins also offer as much enjoyment inside as out with large accessible decks featuring transparent front railings.
All you need to bring is your own personal bedding (sheets, blankets and pillows), food, and items for cooking (pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery).
What are you waiting for?
Cabin rentals can be made five months in advance of your arrival date. Reservations are available first week in May until Thanksgiving.
The cabins rent for $141.25 (HST included) per night, with a two-night minimum (three-night booking minimum on long weekends).

Why visit Pancake Bay?
The beach is simply incredible. With more than 3 km of beautiful sandy shoreline and Caribbean blue waters, it is the perfect spot to cool off in the summer or catch a beautiful northern sunset.
The park boasts two trails with over 15 km to explore. Head on out along the Lookout Trail to enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Superior.
On the trails, keep a lookout for moose, wolves, Black Bears and birds such as Bald Eagles, Common Loons, Sandhill Cranes, Cedar Waxwings, and forest warblers like redstarts.
Join park staff for a Discovery Drop-in program during the months of July and August. Bring along your Discovery Activity Book (or pick one up at the drop-in), and use the equipment and materials provided to explore the park, observe plants and animals, and discover the wonders of nature.
Located along the historic paddling route of the voyageurs, and now along the TransCanada Highway, the park is only a short drive from many regional attractions.
