September 11th to 15th is Health and Health Promotion week in Ontario.
It’s an easy theme to celebrate in Ontario Parks, because our parks offer so many great physical adventures. But did you realize there’s more to being healthy than just breaking a sweat while hiking or canoeing? Here are some Ontario Parks activities that can help you nourish your body and soul:
MacGregor Point Provincial Park – Wild for the Arts, September 15th & 16th

The Pinery Provincial Park – Sunset Walk, September 9th

The Pinery Provincial Park – Great Canadian Cleanup, September 16th
This annual event encourages the preservation of healthy shorelines around the world! Walk along The Pinery’s sandy beach and help clean up litter from a busy season. Visit the Friends of Pinery Park event page to learn more about to get involved.
Port Burwell Provincial Park – Hawk Migration
Witness this annual Fall Raptor Migration along Lake Erie every Sunday after Labour Day until October 9th.
Frontenac Provincial Park – Take the Frontenac Challenge!

Sandbanks – Fall Getaway Fun Run, September 17th
