Halloween in the park
Campers go all out decorating their sites. Kids trick-or-treat around the campground.

Halloween haunt weekend
Spend Thanksgiving weekend at Emily Provincial Park and join the spooky festivities. Start off the weekend by decorating your site, or walk the haunted trail — if you dare.
On Saturday, join in the pumpkin carving contest, or help judge the carved creations. Finish your day by trick-or-treating with friends and family. Don’t forget to stop by the gatehouse!

Halloween decorating contest
The best decorated campsite wins 2 free nights of camping in 2016. Have your site ready by 4pm on Saturday, and don’t forget your favourite costume!

Night hikes & nature art
Take a spooky Night Hike and learn all about bats, owls and other creatures that may be lurking around your campsite! Bring a flashlight but be ready to use your night vision. When the sun comes up the next morning, kids can enjoy an interactive art and nature painting session. After a short walk, we will be painting the landscape and fall colours. Paint, paper, pencils and inspiration will all be provided!

Halloween weekend
Come join the fun at Point Farms’ Thanksgiving weekend. Activities include a campsite decorating contest, a pumpkin carving contest, a chili & baked goods cook-off, a scavenger hunt and — of course — trick-or-treating.

Halloween howl!
Join park staff for our Halloween Howl. Enjoy an afternoon full of activities, games and fun, rounded off with a Costume Campfire and some trick or treating. A full schedule of events, times and locations will be posted on event boards throughout the park or you can get your copy at the park office when you register.

Halloween festival
You won’t want to miss Rondeau’s haunted Visitor Centre! Spend a Saturday bobbing for apples and carving pumpkins. Rondeau naturalists roll out their skull and bones table. Learn about snakes (and even watch one eat lunch!). Prizes for the best costume! Get the full schedule here.

Camper Halloween I
Start the weekend with our Friday night campfire — open to campers and day visitors.
Saturday activities are for registered campers of Bronte Creek Provincial Park only. Decorate your site to have a chance to win a prize! Dress up and go trick-or-treating around the campground. Then try a spooky guided evening hike where you will learn about bats, owls and coyotes! Maybe even get them to howl back…

Halloween weekend
Experience autumn camping in Riverside Campground with a spooky theme! Join park naturalists throughout the weekend for special Halloween-themed interpretive programming. Learn to differentiate between spooky myths and facts; decorate your campsite (no hay or straw and please respect the park environment); participate in campground trick-or-treating or decorate a scarecrow using natural objects from your campsite.

Haunted Halloween weekend
The fun begins on Friday night with our owl prowl, that is sure to be a hoot! Join us at the Visitor Centre on Saturday where a park naturalist will guide you through a collection of animal skeletons. Mew Lake Campground will feature “pick of the patch” pumpkin carving, spookiest campsite and best costume contests. Everyone is invited to participate in trick-or-treating among the campsites on Saturday night, and later, for a howling good time at the nearby Old Airfield with a wolf howl. We will be roasting creepy-crawly spider wieners and ghostly marshmallows.
