Join park staff for a Discovery Drop-in during the months of July & August.  Bring along your Discovery Activity Book (or pick one up at the Drop-in), and use the equipment and materials provided to explore the park, observe plants and animals, and discover the wonders of nature.  Be sure to share your observations with park staff, take the Discovery Ranger Pledge and receive your very own Discover Ranger Button!  For more information keep an eye out for weekly calendar of events posted throughout the park.

Healthy Parks Healthy People Day July 19, 2019 July 19, 2019 Day-use

Ontario‚Äôs Provincial Parks play a vital role in the protection of our natural environment, but did you know that spending time in nature is good for your health too? Join us for our annual Healthy Parks Healthy People celebration on the third Friday in July, to learn about and celebrate the link between healthy parks and healthy people. During this event there will be no charge for day use entry to any provincial park in Ontario.

22nd Annual Kids Fishing Derby August 24, 2019 August 24, 2019 Pavilion 3

For all kids 15 and under. Derby takes place on Saturday from 8AM to 8PM and on Sunday from 8AM to noon. Prizes will be awarded at 1PM on Sunday. Come have some fun and catch a fish. Everyone wins a prize.

Chili Cook-off September 14, 2019 September 14, 2019 Ask at the gate upon arrival. Enter a chili or just be a judge. Prizes awarded for best chilies.

Campers come prepared to decorate your sites, the spookier the better!  Here are some tips on eco-friendly decorating ideas.

Hand out candy to the ghosts and goblins then cozy up around the campfire for some ghost stories!  A great family weekend.  

Trick or treating for kids on Saturday night. Adults come see the awesome decorations and hard work our wonderful campers put into making this special.
