AlertFire Bans

There is a fire ban Presqu'ile Provincial Park has issued a TOTAL FIRE BAN that prohibits all open fires, effective 8:00 a.m. Wednesday June 7, 2023.

During a fire ban:
• Campfires are not permitted at any time;
• Charcoal barbecues or biomass units using natural burning fuels (i.e. sticks, twigs, pinecones, etc.) are not permitted;
• Candles of any type are not permitted;
• Portable outdoor living gas or propane fire pits or fire bowls manufactured for the intended purpose of outdoor ambience and recreational enjoyment that produce a flame are not permitted

Visitors may use:
Portable gas/propane/naphtha stoves or barbeques that have a fuel source with a control valve.

Fire hazard conditions are monitored daily and fire bans are lifted as soon as conditions improve.

Park Advisories

Alert The beach is closed for kiteboarding and windsurfing from May 1st - June 10th each year. This is to prevent disturbance to migrating shorebirds
Alert Obtain your daily vehicle permit up to five days in advance to guarantee your day use spot at this park.
