Celebrate Canada Day by participating in the A'neys'ing Race: Canada Day Edition! This foot-race can be completed solo or in a team. Meet at the Visitor Centre for 11:00 am to get started on your quest! Get ready to explore Canada's natural and cultural history through a series of challenges! In the evening, join us for red and white cupcakes at the Vistior Centre and a screening of the documentary, Painted Land: In Search of the Group of Seven (2015). This film..."follows authors and wilderness photographers Joanie and Gary McGuffin, and art historian Michael Burtch as they search for the locations visited by Canada's most celebrated landscape painters who captured the spirit of the land, water, and skies of northern Ontario in the 1920's. Many of the Group of Seven's canvases and sketches have become iconic representations of the Canadian soul". This event will be held inside the Visitor Centre at 7:30 pm.

Enjoy free day-use at ALL Ontario Parks! Take time to relax on Friday evening by joining our Natural Heritage Education staff for a Boreal Forest Teas tea-tasting session and a screening of the documentary, "The Canoe" at 7:30 pm at the Visitor Centre. Boreal Forest Teas are blended from premium quality organic cultivated herns and locally, ethically and sustainably wild harvested plants.
