Barrier Free

The Visitor Centre, Park Office, campground comfort stations and Agawa Bay Amphitheatre are barrier-free. Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake Campgrounds each have a barrier-free campsite.

Boat Launch(es)

A boat launch is located at Sinclair Cove.

Comfort Station(s)

Comfort stations, complete with flush toilets, showers and laundry, are located in Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake Campgrounds.

Day Use

Three picnic/day use areas offer scenic rest stops.

Sand River
Picnic next to the river; fish in the rapids or hike along the Pinguisibi Trail to one or more of the waterfalls.

Katherine Cove
Located on Lake Superior, the shallow waters and fine sand beach make this area especially appealing to children.

Old Woman Bay
On Lake Superior, this day use area has a sand and pebble beach and access to the Nokomis Hiking Trail.

Obtain your daily vehicle permit up to five days in advance to guarantee your day use spot at this park.

Flush Toilets

Flush toilets are located in the comfort stations in Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake Campgrounds.

Laundromat

Laundry facilities are located in the comfort stations in Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake Campgrounds.

Park Store

Park souvenirs, maps and related publications are available at the Park Office at Red Rock Lake, and in the Visitor Centre adjacent to the Agawa Bay Campground.

Rentals

Canoes are available for rent at Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake gatehouses, and at the Park Office for Mijinemungshing Lake.

Visitor Centre

Located adjacent to the Agawa Bay Campground, the Visitor Centre highlights the “Power of Lake Superior” and the park’s cultural history, natural features and recreational opportunities. This facility also includes an information/reception area, washrooms, theatre/activity room and a gift shop.
