Fire Bans

There is a partial fire ban The superintendent has implemented a partial fire ban that applies to campground campsites only. The following conditions apply during a partial fire ban: Campfire must be contained within the designated fire pit No flammable material within 1 metre of the campfire There must be a minimum of 3 metres between the campfire and any nearby or overhanging vegetation/forest area You must have adequate equipment to control and extinguish a fire Campfires are only permitted between the following hours: 7 pm to 9 am For updates related to this ban, please visit To report a forest fire call 310-FIRE (3473) or 911

Park Advisories

1 The Park Store and Watercraft Rentals will be closed at Bass Lake for the 2020 season.
Firewood and Ice is available at the Gatehouse!
2 Bass Lake, Mara, and McRae Pt Provincial Parks have implemented measures to address overcrowding promote physical distancing. The Day Use area may be closed at any time of day if park capacity is reached. Visitors should plan accordingly and make alternate arrangements in the event the park is closed.
