Balsam Lake has a range of campsites with and without electricity for tents and RVs. For a private, natural experience car access walk-in sites are also available. Campsites may be reserved from the second Friday in May through to the Thanksgiving weekend. Reservations are accepted five months in advance of arrival – reserve early to avoid disappointment.
Dog free camping is available at the six Eco (walk-in) sites.
At Balsam Lake there are three Group Camping sites serviced with vault privies and drinking water. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
Eco (walk-in) sites, Cedar Grove, Mapleview and Hawthorne Valley campgrounds are now radio-free.
Six radio-free, pet free, Eco (walk-in) campsites are available.

This fully furnished 4-bedroom cottage is located close to the water and is fully equipped with three double beds and one bunk bed (twin/double), propane furnace with central air, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, pots, dishes, pans, cutlery, TV, DVD Player, BBQ, outdoor fire pit, picnic table, 8 Adirondack outdoor chairs, ping pong table and a washer and dryer.
Visitors should bring their own bedding, food and other personal items.
There is a 2-night minimum stay and a 3-night minimum stay on long weekends.
Please note that domestic animals (pets) are not permitted in the cottage and smoking is prohibited.
