Additional Information
Last week's thaw and rain followed by Friday's return to very cold temperatures has created icy conditions until more fresh snow arrives. Awenda offers rustic, back country style ski trails and an excellent opportunity to spend some time outdoors while experiencing nature and some spectacular views over Georgian Bay. See you soon! Please be aware that there is extensive hazard tree removal occurring throughout the park. If you encounter individuals conducting hazard tree removal, please ensure that you are seen by workers prior to proceeding on your route. As a friendly reminder the Bluff and Brule Trails are for skiers only. Please do not walk or snowshoe on the trails. In addition dogs are not permitted on the Bluff and Brule Trails now that the trails have been prepared for the winter cross-country ski season. Park Management
