The Heritage Mica Festival kicked off on June 24 at Murphys Point Provincial Park and has been continuing throughout the summer. Ontario Parks is piloting new types of roofed accommodation this year at Murphys Point, Arrowhead and Pinery Provincial Parks. We started with Camp Cabins. There is one located in each of our pilot parks. The second new accommodation is a Deluxe Tent. This tent is now available at Murphys Point (site 48), Arrowhead (site 247) and Pinery (site 491). Our family has been coming to Presqu’ile for 20 years. Every year for the past 19 years, we’ve taken a picture of our 4 children at the lighthouse steps. When we look at them, we remember all the years and memories we have here. We love all of the trails, deer, and other animals here. We consider this our second home. Presqu’ile is an amazing place.
