Ontario Parks Tackleshare

Ontario Parks and OFAH have once again partnered together for a Tackleshare program. This program is designed to give everyone, young and old, the opportunity to get outside and enjoy fishing with family and friends. Ontario Parks users don’t have to worry about having their own equipment! OFAH has provided 56 Ontario Parks with fishing rods, reels and basic tackle to loan to children and novice anglers – free of charge.

Also, new this year, OFAH will be visiting three Ontario Parks and inviting kids to participate in an interactive and education opportunity to learn about fishing and the skills necessary to try fishing for the first time. Fishing gear and rods will be supplied. Participating parks are: Bass Lake on July 30, Grundy on August 6 and Darlington on August 27
