18 Provincial Parks Celebrate 50th Anniversary

12259Emily 11957 what a year! The Montreal Canadiens won the Stanley Cup, Lester B. Pearson was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and Ontario added another 18 provincial parks to its growing numbers.

All across the province, parks will be having special events and programs to mark the occasion. So why not take this opportunity to visit an area of the province you have yet to explore? Venture north for the celebrations at Rene Brunelle or Kettle Lakes. Or create your own personal challenge and see how many of the parks you can visit during their anniversary year.

  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONTARIO PARKS..

    I have spent many summers enjoying ontario provincial parks. I have alot of very fond memories of camping with my family as I was growing up and I will continue to make new memories with my children/family every summer.
    Thanks for all your hard work preserving the parks.
