Come celebrate 50 fabulous years at Killbear Provincial Park this Saturday, August 7th. The Friends of Killbear and Ontario Parks have been gearing up for this big birthday celebration for months and have a fun filled day planned. The party starts at 1:00 p.m. and there is cake. Who doesn’t love birthday cake?!

10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Trail challenge, bicycle scavenger hunt, visitor centre quiz
11:00 a.m. 2:00 & 4:00p.m. Guided hikes to maple syrup bush- Blind Bay cottage road
1:00 p.m. -1:45 p.m. Welcome ceremonies- Visitor Centre
2:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Stories from the past- Visitor Centre
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Kayak demonstrations by White Squall- Day Use Beach
4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. Min We We First Nations Drumming- Visitors Centre
8:30 p.m. History of Killbear Spirit Night- Amphitheatre
