2011 Giant Digital Photography Workshops Announced!

That’s right; we’re back for a third season of photography learning programs at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park near Thunder Bay. For 2011 we’re kicking off the series with a spring refresher program at Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park in late May.

Join local professional photographer Barry Wojciechowski, LPPO/PPOC to learn the tips and techniques of digital photography among the inspiring natural wonders of these two spectacular Northwestern Ontario Parks. Small group size ensures personalized feedback from Barry. Programs are great for both 35mm DSLRs and point & shoot camera users. 2011 workshops include:

– You and Your Digital Camera (Buttons and Knobs) – Thrs. May 26, 2011, (6-9 p.m.) $30.00 + HST (includes park entry fee)

Hosted at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

– Nature and Wildlife Photography – Sat. June 18, 2011
– Photographing People in Parks – Sun. July 17, 2011
– Nature Photography; Landscapes – Sat. Aug. 20, 2011
Each one day workshop runs 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and costs $54.00 + HST (+ park entry fee payable at gate).
– Fall Colours Workshop – Fri. Sept. 30 – Sun. Oct. 2, 2011 $419.00 +HST
Engulf yourself in this weekend learning experience with fellow photo buffs. This workshop includes shared accommodation (private room) in a park cabin or the conference centre and park entry fee.
