Park Advisories

The Rondeau Provincial Park pier suffered ice damage in January of 2014. For public safety reasons, the pier remains closed until further notice.

Due to extensive damage caused by the continued erosion of the shoreline area resulting from high winds and water levels the observation tower on Marsh Trail at Rondeau Provincial Park is currently closed to park visitors. Options for rehabilitation are currently being explored.
Sections of the Marsh Trail were severely damaged during a recent storm. The trail remains open to park visitors however caution must be taken when traversing these areas of the trail which will be marked with orange traffic cones. Options for rehabilitation are currently being explored.
