The Rondeau Provincial Park pier suffered ice damage in January of 2014. For public safety reasons, the pier remains closed until further notice.
Due to extensive damage caused by the continued erosion of the shoreline area resulting from high winds and water levels the observation tower on Marsh Trail at Rondeau Provincial Park is currently closed to park visitors. Options for rehabilitation are currently being explored.
Sections of the Marsh Trail were severely damaged during a recent storm. The trail remains open to park visitors however caution must be taken when traversing these areas of the trail which will be marked with orange traffic cones. Options for rehabilitation are currently being explored.
Due to recent heavy rainfall and the resultant flooding of roads and campsites at Rondeau Provincial Park, the campground will be closed from Tuesday, May 15th until further notice. The park remains open for day use from 8AM until 10PM.
