The Rondeau Provincial Park pier suffered ice damage in January of 2014. For public safety reasons, the pier remains closed until further notice.
The Marsh Tower and boardwalk were severely damaged by ice sheer earlier this year. For public safety reasons, both the Marsh Tower and boardwalk were removed until further notice. Sections of the Marsh Trail were also damaged by high water levels earlier this year causing erosion and instability of the trail itself. The Marsh Trail remains open to park visitors however caution must be taken when traversing these areas of the trail during periods of inclement weather. Options for rehabilitation of the Marsh Tower and the Marsh Trail are currently being explored.
In order to assist the province with its efforts to keep Ontarians safe during this time, all provincial parks will be closed to the public from March 19, 2020 until April 30, 2020.

Visitors with reservations for arrivals up to April 30, 2020 are eligible for full refunds, with no penalty. Penalty-free refunds will automatically be issued. Please do not cancel reservations online, as this may trigger an automatic penalty.
Current visitors to provincial parks will be required to vacate by March 19, 2020.
