Ontario is home to some of the most incredible hunters in the animal kingdom. In this program you will come face-to-face with these spectacular predators, and learn about the amazing adaptations they use to survive. Wild Ontario's birds also have unique histories that teach us about how humans can impact wildlife, and how we can all work together to help wild species. There will be photo opportunities, so don't forget your camera! Dogs can be a little scary to the birds, so please leave them behind or seat them at the back.
|Whiskey Jack Concert||August 12, 2018||August 12, 2018||
For 4 decades, Whiskey Jack has been performing their unique brand of Canadian country music coast to coast. In the 1980's, these virtuosos were featured weekly on CBC TV's Tommy Hunter Show. Every Friday night, they'd stand on "The Ol' Back Porch" while over 2 million Canadians would turn on their TV's to watch them pick some tunes and have a few laughs with a celebrity comedian. In the 1990's, they hooked up with Stompin' Tom Connors and these two Canadian institutions took their music coast to coast. Each time they play our park, these lifetime campers bring songs that celebrate summers sleeping in a tent and swatting bugs....and everything else we all love about camping in the north.
