Ontario’s Provincial Parks play a vital role in the protection of our natural environment, but did you know that spending time in nature is good for your health too? Join us for our annual Healthy Parks Healthy People celebration on the third Friday in July, to learn about and celebrate the link between healthy parks and healthy people. During this event there will be no charge for day use entry to any provincial park in Ontario.
We invite you to enjoy a hike, picnic, swim or just lounge under the shade of a tree. Recharge. Rejuvenate. Reconnect.

Q. When is the best time to visit?
Weekdays. There will be have far fewer people on the trails and lots of parking.
Check out the Fall Colour Report for the optimal time when the colours are prime.
Park only in designated parking lots, avoid parking on road shoulders.
Things to remember when hiking:
Take a map. Stay on the designated trails. Be aware of your surroundings.
Weather can change quickly, be prepared with layers of clothing and rain gear.
Bring some water and snacks. (take your garbage out with you).
Remember your camera!
Dogs on leash.
Many area towns offer establishments for food, gas and drinks.
