View the elusive Whimbrel and the many colourful warblers as they migrate to their northern nesting grounds. 9:30am - Volunteer to help plant trees and create wildlife habitat along with our Park Biologist and our Natural Heritage Education team.

Go Wild for Art

2pm - Celebrate Ontario Parks' 125th anniversary by creating your own unique piece of art.  All supplies provided, just bring your creativity and imagination!

Beach Yoga

7pm - Time to unwind in nature with some relaxing and rejuvenating yoga overlooking the lake. Bring a yoga mat or towel and a water bottle.

2019, will the 26th Anniversary of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup in Canada. You can make a world of a difference by joining Canadians from coast to coast to coast to clean up shoreline litter. Meet at the Pinery Visitor Centre to start the day, where gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunscreen, and consider wearing insect repellent to combat biting flies. Please pre-register by calling 519 243 8574.   For high school aged students, this is a great way to work towards completing your community service hours and for everyone else, this is a great way to give back to the park and ensure our shorelines are kept devoid of human litter.
