What You'll Like:
The Aubinadong River flows through a diverse landscape. The valley changes from a rugged environment dominated by high rock faces in the northern portion to gentler, low lying topography near its confluence with the Mississagi River in the south. The river itself is a series of wide, slow moving stretches connected by narrow channels of fast water. While most of the forest is second growth, the result of the Mississagi fire of 1948, white pine can be found along the corridor.
Location: To the north of Thessalon and east of Searchmont.
Park Facilities: There are no park facilities.
