Rice Bisque with Cottage Cheese and Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmatti rice
  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 green chili
  • oil
  • spices (red chili, salt, etc.)
  • cubed cottage cheese
  • red pepper
  • green pepper
  • onion
  • tomatoes

Directions:

  1. fry onions, potatoes and green chili’s in oil in a pan
  2. put rice and lentils in a pot and double the quantity of water (approximately 3 cups)
  3. keep on stove until it boils and let simmer until rice is tender
  4. put cheese, onion, both peppers and tomatoes in hot oil and add spices
  5. fry for 2-3 min on high flame
  6. mix all parts together in a large pot and enjoy!
