Fishing
Wilderness paddling through Wabakimi affords the rare pleasure of
excellent fishing in a near pristine setting. Many outfitters offer
fly-in fishing adventures. Species you might catch include walleye,
northern pike, lake trout, perch and whitefish.

Wildlife Viewing
Wildlife in Wabakimi are typical of the boreal forest region and
include moose, black bears, timber wolves, beavers, otters and eagles.
About 300 woodland caribou also roam in the park, elusive but occasionally
seen by lake and river shores or swimming across a lake.
Boating
Motorboats are permitted in the expanded park area. Only remote
tourism operations are allowed to use them in the original park
area.

rental equipment, air service, vehicle shuttles, park permits, fishing
licences.
