Fishing
Fish in the spring for catfish and barbotte, in the summer for bass,
pike, perch and walleye, or in the fall for walleye. The Park Store
rents fishing tackle and sells worms during the spring and summer.
More information on fishing.
Canoeing
The many quiet bays and marshes are ideal for canoeing. Canoes can
be rented at the day-use area.
Boating
Several bays and inlets suit small watercraft. Larger boats can
cruise the main waters of the Ottawa River. The park has three boat
launches.
Swimming
At four sandy beaches, swimming areas are clearly marked by buoys,
making them ideal for families.
Cycling
Cycling is possible along the main park roads and in the campgrounds.
Winter Activities
From mid-December to mid-March, cross-country skiers can ski along
12 km of groomed and track-set trails. Snowshoers can explore large
parts of the park.
