Temagami Area Parks
Management Plan Process
This index page has been created to give you access to documents related to the five provincial parks , eight conservation reserves and Crown land recreation management which make up the Temagami Integrated Planning (TIP) Process. Listed below are the documents now available. Notices regarding this management planning project will be posted on the Environmental Bill of Rights website.
The five parks are: Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater (wilderness class), Obabika River, Makobe-Grays River, Solace, and Sturgeon River (all waterway class parks). The eight conservation reserves lie adjacent to the above backcountry parks. A recreation plan for Crown lands within the Temagami area, outside of the protected areas, is also included in this integrated planning process.
In the previous stages of this integrated planning process, the three planning components (provincial parks, conservation reserves and Crown land recreation planning) were included in the same document. Note that at this stage, each of the three components is covered in a separate management plan for review.
