Natural Features

This park is distinctive for its collection of Holocene-era features. These occurred within the last 10 000 years, and include the Dog Lake moraine, kettle terraces, spillways, and outwash deposits.

Park Facilities and Activities

Toilets, a parking lot, and a boat ramp have been installed for the convenience of visitors. Picnicking, swimming, and nature viewing are some activities to be enjoyed here.

Location: The park is 35 km northwest of Thunder Bay. Take Highway 102 west to Silver Falls Road, then north to Dog Lake.
