Sauble Trail 2.5km
(2 hours) easy
This trail travels primarily through a red pine plantation.
An interpretive leaflet explains current and historic forest
management practices in the area. Bicycles are not allowed
on this trail which travels through an area of ancient sand
dunes.
Fishing
Anglers will find the areas adjacent to the falls to be excellent
for trout and salmon fishing in the spring and fall. The area
of the falls is posted closed to fishing year round.

Canoeing
Rankin River- Isaac Lake to Sauble Falls P.P,
18km, 5-7hr, 3 portages, beginner. The Rankin River canoe
route is impassible in times of low water. A portage around
Sauble Falls will take you downstream to Lake Huron.
Wildlife Viewing
A red pine plantation beside the park shelters white-tailed
deer, fox, and other animals.
The falls provide spectacular viewing opportunities for
rainbow trout and salmon as they travel upstream to spawn
in the spring and fall.
Winter Activities
In winter, park roads may be used for hiking, cross-country
skiing and snowshoeing, the gate remains closed.
Other - The park is a great base
from which to explore the Bruce Peninsula.
