Education
Park staff offer guided walks on park trails, outdoor amphitheatre
programs, special activities and events about Rushing River's
natural heritage. Check the weekly program schedules posted
around the park.

Canoeing
From this park, you can access to six canoe routes ranging
in length from 32 to 103 km.
Wildlife Viewing
Early spring and late fall are the seasons when you will most
likely see black bears, moose and deer and the smaller red
foxes, weasels, mink and otters. Sixty species of birds also
live here, including great blue herons, loons, night hawks,
belted kingfishers, Canada jays and various waterfowl.
Boating
Cruise the waters in your own boat or rent one from facilities
nearby. You can launch your boat from two ramps located in
the park.
Swimming
Four sandy beaches provide excellent swimming areas, all of
which have a shallow roped-off section, ideal for children.
Winter Activities
Sixteen kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails range
in difficulty from easy to challenging.
