Ouimet Canyon Trail 1 km (45 minutes)
This trail leads to two platforms overlooking the steep Ouimet Canyon. The canyon is so deep and cold that three species of Arctic plants flourish here. Walkways, viewing platforms and interpretive panels explain the unusual ecology. Because of the fragility of its plant life, the bottom of the canyon is closed to visitors.
