Education
Visit the reconstructed 19th-century logging camp with its log buildings
and artifacts. See the award-winning film Winter Camp shot on location
here, at the Museum. An evening program runs three times a week
at the Amphitheatre.
Canoeing
The Marten River flows through the heart of the park and provides
access to several lakes, forming part of an extensive canoe route.
Marten River Route 35
km loop (2-3 days) 2 portages
This route starts and finishes in the park. Best paddled between
late May and September, it is rated Class C for difficulty and has
no whitewater.
Wildlife Viewing - You might see bears,
white-tailed deer and birds.
Winter Activities
The park is officially open from mid-May to late September, but
cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and picnicking can
be enjoyed throughout the winter.
