Picnics and Day Use
Three picnic/day-use areas offer scenic rest stops.
Sand River
Picnic next to the river; fish in the rapids or hike along the Pinguisibi
Trail to one or more of the falls.
Katherine Cove
Located on Lake Superior, the shallow waters and fine sand beach
make this area especially appealing to children.
Old Woman Bay
On Lake Superior, this day-use area has a sand and pebble beach
and access to the Nokomis Hiking Trail.
Visitor Centre
A new Visitor Centre is open in the Agawa Bay Campground. The Visitor Centre highlights the park's cultural history, natural features and recreational opportunities. This facility also includes an information/reception area, washrooms, theatre/activity room and a gift shop operated by Niijkiwenhwag - Friends of Lake Superior Park.

Park souvenirs, maps and related publications are available at the Park Office, and at LAKE EFFECTS, the gift shop operated by Niijkiwenhwag - Friends of Lake Superior Park, located in the Visitor Centre at the Agawa Bay campground.

Canoes can be rented at Agawa Bay and Rabbit Blanket Lake gatehouses

You can also rent equipped campsites and trailer storage.
