Campsite Location
Camping is permitted only on Ministry designated campsites.
Campsite capacity
Keep group sizes small on campsites in order to avoid trampling vegetation and causing environmental damage to the area. There is a recommended maximum of 9 people per campsite.
Pack out all garbage
Take your garbage home with you.
Vegetation
Do not cut or damage shrubs and trees
Fires
Completely extinguish your fire with water – make sure it’s out! Note that fire restrictions or bans are implemented when the forest fire threat is high. To determine existing fire conditions, call the MNR’s fire advisory number at 1-800-595-7705.
Noise
Excessive noise is prohibited at all times by the Provincial Parks Act. Respect other area users.
Privies
Use privies or bury waste at least 30 m from water.
Cleansing agents
Always use biodegradable soaps. Do NOT wash in lakes or streams. When washing with soaps, do so at least 30 m from water.
Portages
Do not camp on portages or block other users.
