Education
Park naturalists offer guided hikes, spirit hikes and evening theatre programs during the summer.

One of the highlights at Wakami Lake is the Outdoor Logging Exhibit, which documents the end of the white pine logging era and the switch from horse-drawn logging to mechanization.

Fishing
Wakami Lake is considered a premier fishing destination in northern Ontario for walleye and whitefish. Northern pike and speckled trout are also found in Imakaw Lake. Fish cleaning stations are located in Brown's Bay and Birch Hill.

Canoeing
Wakami Lake Route 56 km (3-4 days) 8 portages, intermediate
This route travels through a series of small lakes and winds through the narrow Little Wakami River. Ask for a detailed brochure.

Boating
Boat launching and docking facilities are located near Brown's Bay Campground.

Swimming
A sandy beach features a buoyed area and change facilities ideal for family swimming. The water is deep in spots.
