| Fishing
Renowned for great fishing, Silent Lake abounds with lake trout
and small and large mouth bass. During the summer, lake trout inhabit
the deep, cold waters and bass enjoy the warm, shallow waters. Enter
your catch in the annual Big Fish Contest.

Canoeing
Canoeists can explore the rocky islands in Silent Lake or go further
into two connecting lakes. Canoes and kayaks can be rented at
the park.
Wildlife Viewing
Otter, mink and beaver live in the marshy areas near the shoreline
of the lake and deer can often be seen on higher ground.
Boating
To help preserve the tranquility of the natural environment, motorboats
are not allowed in the park. Canoes, kayaks can be rented in the
park.
Swimming
Two sandy beaches offer excellent swimming and diving docks, one
for day visitors and the other for campers, close to the campgrounds.
Cycling
There are three marked, mountain-biking trails. The 7-km and 12-km
routes are rated moderate. And the 19-km route is more challenging.
