In the heart of the Muskoka snow belt, Arrowhead offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, skating and winter hiking.

Cross-Country Skiing
The park grooms 22 km of track-set, cross-country ski trails and 11km of skate skiing trails. Each trail is rated for difficulty and ranges from beginner to expert. You can rent skis at the fully stocked Park Pro Shop and buy other amenities such as waxes, gloves, clothing and hot chocolate too.

If you want to challenge yourself, come out for the Muskoka Loppet held every January in the park with the generous support of the Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club. More information can be found at http://arrowheadnordic.ca.

Snowshoeing
There are 6km of marked snowshoe trails . Travel along Mayflower Lake or stomp your way to Big Bend Lookout. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Park Pro Shop.

Tubing
The park provides inner tubes and plastic carpets for those who want to try the tubing hill. Zooom!

Skating
Go for a spin on the outdoor skating rink that overlooks beautiful Mayflower Lake. At the gazebo beside the rink, you can change into your skates, or take a break and just watch the fun on the ice. Arrowhead now offers skates to rent for the whole family!

Hiking
Put your boots on and come for a hike along the two-km Stubb's Falls trail.
Afterwards, unwind at one of our two heated warm-up shelters or gather around the open fire at the tubing hill.
If you have the time, we would really appreciate your comments and suggestions. Tell us how we did!
