Hiking
Waterview Trail - 3 km (1 hour) easy
This short trial winds through a variety of habitats. From the beach parking lot, the first half kilometre of this paved path is wheelchair accessible. The trail follows the shoreline of Bass Lake to a boardwalk across a marsh and past the remains of the homestead of Basil H. Rowe who settled here in the 1830s. Look for wildlife as you follow the overgrown stone fence then descend a hill created by a glacier 10,000 years ago.

Fishing
Bass Lake offers some of the best freshwater fishing in the area for largemouth and smallmouth bass, sunfish, crappie and perch.
More information on fishing.

Boating
Bass Lake has a boat launch and docking facilities.

Swimming
Shallow, clear water makes Bass Lake perfect for family swimming.

Winter Activities
Cross-country skiers, snowshoers and hikers are welcome to use the park in winter. Snowmobiles are prohibited. Main Entrance gated. Winter activities can be accessed by the winter entrance.
